The San Francisco Street Food Festival has become an institution in this city. On Saturday, August 18th, it will be back for its fourth year. If you haven’t been to the festival before, expect a little chaos and a whole lot of authentic and delicious street food bites.
Cater2.me is proud to be a sponsor and even more proud of our vendors who will be showcasing their talents at the Festival. (There’s a full list below.) We had the opportunity to preview the variety of vendors at the Media Night / VIP Dinner last week and can hardly contain our excitement!
A new addition to the festivities this year is the Friday Night Market on August 17th. The market will have many of the same vendors as the main Saturday festival, except without the lines. This will be a great opportunity to meet the vendors in a calmer setting. The ticket donation goes to the host of the festival, La Cocina, an incubator kitchen that has helped countless food entrepreneurs through the start-up process.
A very important portion of the festival, the National Small Food Business Conference, takes place on August 19th and 20th. This conference focuses on things like the science and economics of street food and new immigrant foods. It will feature the who’s who of the Bay Area food scene, including Cater2.me founders, Zach Yungst and Alex Lorton!
Make sure to mark your calendars for this event, because it is THE food event of the summer in SF! And be sure to stop by the Cater2.me booth for some special treats.
