Cater2.me’s Bowery Mission Partnership

Addie Stuber

November 6, 2013

TBD

Cater2.me has come a long way since landing in New York City one year ago. We’ve had the opportunity to serve thousands of meals to top companies in industries as diverse as the Big Apple. Because we’ve seen first-hand what good food can do, we understand the value associated with providing it.

Supporting local initiatives that donate meals to the hungry brings us one step closer to feeding not only New York’s business community, but our community at large. With this in mind, we’re proud to announce our partnership with The Bowery Mission.

“Since 1879, The Bowery Mission has met the short-term, emergency needs of New Yorkers caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness, and dependencies of many kinds with compassionate care services – food, safe shelter, clothing and medical care,” says Laurie Anne Bentley, Senior Manager of Corporate Partnerships and Events at The Bowery Mission. “The Bowery Mission serves nearly 900 meals a day to anyone in need in their dining room at 227 Bowery, as well as providing hot food, sandwiches, and groceries to the homeless and working poor in parks throughout Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn.”

Your company can help us feed the hungry too! Every time you receive a meal feedback form, you’ll have the opportunity to donate any meal leftovers to The Bowery Mission. Simply call the number listed at the bottom to schedule a free same-day pickup.

Together, we can continue to change the way offices eat!

“Cater2.me has been able to get our employees from all different departments together, to get away from our desks, recharge, and be able to return to our work, happy and full.”
