Here at, we love our vendors. But we’re not the only ones. See why acclaimed critics like Bon Appetit, TimeOut, and Thrillist are raving about the lifeblood of our company: our vendors.

Alidoro (New York City, NY)


In a town that’s known for great sandwiches, you’d think it would be hard to stand out. That’s not the case for Alidoro, which was recently named one of the “Best Sandwich Shops” by TimeOut NY. The question isn’t whether or not to try Alidoro, it’s WHAT to try at Alidoro.

Consider trying the Pinocchio, a glorious combination of prosciutto, sopressata, fresh mozzarella, sweet roasted peppers, and olive paste on fresh, chewy bread. The Pinocchio was dubbed one of the “13 Best Sandwiches” in NYC by Gothamist, who admitted that “picking just one of the masterpieces at this SoHo sandwich shop [was] no easy task.” Or you can go with their namesake sandwich, which TimeOut NY highlighted as a “Top 100 Best Dish” in 2014. And don’t forget about the Walter, which Maxim Magazine featured as its sandwich of the week. The struggle is real. My advice? Get a variety delivered to your office, so you can sample them all.


Noble Sandwich Company (Austin, TX)

Called a “cultishly-loved sandwich shop” by Eater, Noble Sandwich should be high on the list of any foodie in the Austin area. The rave reviews aren’t just on Yelp; critically-acclaimed publication Bon Appetit hailed Noble Sandwich Company as a “breakfast sandwich god.” Now that the Austin Chronicle has revealed that it’s open for dinner, Noble Sandwich isn’t relinquishing the throne anytime soon. How will you pick just one?


Kasa Indian (San Francisco, CA)

Kasa’s been dubbed an “Indian Taqueria,” because it serves Indian cuisine rolled up inside roti bread, a form paying homage to the traditional burrito. They’re taking street food by storm by serving a simple menu of beloved traditional eats. SF Weekly favors the lamb curry: a blend of spices, hunks of potato, and slivers of red onion. To balance that heat, don’t skimp on the cilantro chutney and cucumber yogurt. The concept of the “Indian burrito” has even knocked the socks off Thrillist. Kasa Indian recently participated in the Food Network’s Food Fortunes and successfully received funding from high profile investors.


Arepa Zone (Washington, DC)

The people have spoken, and Arepa Zone takes the corn cake (if you will) for most popular food truck in the DC metro area. Voted as the 2014 Food Truck of the Year during DC’s Curbside Cookoff, Arepa Zone has quickly gained a loyal following. So, it comes as no surprise that the Washington Post named them the city’s BEST South/Central American cuisine. Their delicious Venezuelan sandwiches are corn-based flatbreads that are flash-fried and stuffed with ingredients like shredded meats, melted cheese, and moist black beans. Arepa Zone has no intention of slowing down. Just last month, TimeOut named it a top food truck in Washington, DC, and the DCist described it as “where the chefs go to eat.” Arriba arepa!


Garifuna Flava (Chicago, IL)

If you haven’t had a taste of Belizean cuisine, you’re seriously missing out. There’s no better place to indulge in the rich, bold flavors of the Caribbean than the South Side’s Garifuna Flava. Chicago’s Best featured it in 2012 and Guy Fieri recently visited it on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Garifuna Flava is the place for soul-warming authentic eats, like hearty chicken stew, crispy conch fritters, and mashed plantains. Ranked on Thrillist’s “Chicago’s Ultimate South Side Eating Guide,” Garifuna Flava is a culinary gem. Just don’t make the same mistake as Serious Eats: they kick themselves to this day for not trying it sooner.


Hot Cakes Cakery (Seattle, WA)

Hot Cakes is no stranger to hot press. Their incredible baked goods have graced the pages of national publications like InStyle and Food & Wine as “desserts to die for.” Even fitness-oriented magazine Women’s Health couldn’t resist, highlighting Hot Cake’s s’mores kits as “pure decadence.” If s’mores aren’t your thing, try their bacon, oatmeal, and raisin cookies, which have been ranked by Bon Appetit as one of the “best coffee bar desserts in America.” Even Oprah has joined the Hot Cakes fan club! She included their molten mason jar cakes on her list of “50 things that make you say WOW.”
