With the bins collected, the donations weighed, and the cans distributed, we’re happy to report that the Cater2.me Cares Winter Food Drive was a rousing success!
For two weeks this December, participating clients in New York, San Francisco, and Boston filled collection bins with hundreds of pounds of donated items to assist local charities in their communities.
New York
In New York City, we partnered with Food Bank for New York City, an organization that has worked to end hunger throughout the five boroughs for over 30 years.
San Francisco
In the Bay Area, we worked with two charitable organizations: the SF-Marin Food Bank and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Participation was amazing. Even Batman lent a helping hand!
Boston
In Boston, we partnered with ABCD, an incredible antipoverty agency. It helps low-income greater Boston area residents through its city-wide network of neighborhood-based organizations.
In total, our Cater2.me Cares Winter Food Drive collections added up to almost 1,500 meals for those in need!
Denver
But the generosity didn’t end there! In Denver, our team organized a Holiday Sock Drive supporting the Denver Rescue Mission. Participating clients contributed over 350 pairs of socks, providing much-needed warmth to the less fortunate during these cold winter months.
