October 3, 2019

TBD

Have you started planning your office Halloween party yet? Spooky season is officially upon us and we couldn’t be more excited about it! It’s time for cooler weather, scary movies, haunted hayrides and costume parties. It’s also time to spook up your office with some fun, Halloween-themed catering. Need some ideas to get you started? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Read more below for some of our creepiest cuisines.

Drinks

There’s no better way to start the night off than with some fun, themed drink options! Whether it’s an office happy hour or to accompany your meal, these ideas will add a little flair to your beverage table.

  • Witches Brew
Double, double toil and trouble!” Fill a cauldron with your favorite party punch and some dry ice to make it look like a scary witches’ potion. Bonus points if the punch is green.
  • Cup of Blood
This fun, happy hour beverage will have you feeling like a vampire! Mix up some red cocktails and label them as cups of blood.
  • Spooky Spider Surprise
Mix up some sangria (or any cocktail really) and pour it over spider-filled ice cubes for a shocking twist. Your team won’t see it coming!
  • Brainiac
Instead of your typical garnish, stick a toothpick through some gummy brains to top of any cocktail and make it extra creepy.
  • Butterbeer
The Harry Potter lovers in your office will go crazy for this fun drink! A little butterscotch flavoring (or butterscotch liquor) mixed into some cream soda will make you feel like you’re at Hogwarts.
  • Black Magic Punch
Activated charcoal seems to be making its way into everything these days. A charcoal lemonade or punch will bring a darker element to your office this season. Not to mention, there are amazing health benefits that come with it!

Appetizers

No office Halloween party is complete without some spooky appetizers to snack on. Which ones will you dare to try? We have some ideas that are both delicious and terrifying!

  • Mummy Brie
This fun app is super simple, spooky and maybe a little cute? Brie wrapped in puff pastry (like mummy bandages) with little pecan eyes poking out makes this treat fun and delicious!
  • Puking pumpkin nachos
Despite the off-putting name, this treat is the ultimate crowd pleaser and a Halloween party classic. Lay out tortilla chips on a tray, pile them high with guacamole and position in front of a jack o’lantern that looks like they had a little too much candy!
  • Breadstick bones
These bone-shaped breadsticks are the ultimate addition to an Italian-style meal this season. Perfect for dipping and getting you in the Halloween spirit!
  • Zombie Boogers
We know it sounds gross, but these little boogers are just popcorn with green food coloring. An easy, fun treat to kick off any office Halloween party!
  • Mr. Bones Veggie Tray
Veggies arranged to look like your fourth grade science class skeleton will make your team smile. It might even encourage them to eat more vegetables!
  • Mummy dogs
This twist on pigs in a blanket is such an easy way to spook up your appetizer table. Just wrap pastry around hot dogs like bandages and add little eyeballs to make your hotdogs look like mummies!

Desserts

No tricks here, just treats! Although, some of these treats might trick you with their creepy appearance. Either way, you’ll definitely want to try out some of these delicious options.

  • Halloween Cookies
You can’t mess with a classic! Halloween-themed cookies from your favorite local bakery are guaranteed to please the masses at your office Halloween party.
  • Poison Caramel Apples
A Halloween favorite, caramel apples are the perfect way to top of the night with something sweet. Be careful, though! These apples might just have a secret ingredient!
  • Boo-scotti
These little biscottis decorated to look like ghosts pair perfectly with your after-dinner coffee or tea!
  • Dead Velvet Cake
This classic red velvet cake covered in cream cheese icing is sure to be a crowd pleaser, but there’s a twist! Red “blood” drips down over the sides and the best part? A bloody knife stuck right on top.
  • Strawberry Ghosts
These sweet treats are just strawberries dipped in white chocolate and decorated with little ghost faces. Not only are they boo-tiful, but they’re classically delicious!
  • Pumpkin Truffles
These chocolate truffles decorated to look like pumpkins are adorable, festive and decadent! Make sure to order extra, because your team is sure to go through these quickly.
