In 2010, the initial seeds of Cater2.me were sown in the Big Apple. Zach and Alex realized that the standard meals they were receiving through their jobs in finance seriously lacked variety. To understand why the best food from small, local providers was not making its way into offices, they began talking to both office managers and to local restaurants and street food vendors. They started in the Bay Area, knowing that when ready, they would return to New York to help feed their former (hungry) colleagues.
